Description

Natural Hair Polishing Pads:  Car Wash Windows

These pads are best used to remove topical layers of dirt, soap scum, before polishing deeper layers.  For example, when working on shower doors, its common to encounter a layer of soap scum.  Natural hair pads are thick (3/4″) and made from heavy natural fibers that can scoop up the soap scum to reveal the hard water stains beneath.  Therefore, its best to use a natural hair pad to remove this layer.  Many professionals then use the same pad to continue polishing away the hard water stains.  This can work up to a point.  If the stains are hard to remove, it is necessary to switch to a steel wool pad for the last layer.

NOTE: Always start polishing with the least abrasive polishing pad possible and work your way toward more abrasive pads.
